School Gymnastics
Melbourne Tumbling Academy is Melbourne’s leading provider of School Gymnastics Programs for primary and secondary schools across Melbourne. Our curriculum-aligned gymnastics programs are designed for students from Prep to Year 6 and Year 7 to Year 12, supporting physical education outcomes while creating a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment.
Our School Gymnastics Programs focus on developing fundamental movement skills, coordination, strength, flexibility, balance, and confidence through structured and inclusive gymnastics activities. Sessions are delivered by highly qualified and accredited gymnastics coaches who understand how to engage students of all abilities and learning styles.
With flexible delivery options, programs can be delivered onsite at schools or at the State Gymnastics Centre, with equipment supplied as part of our premium package if required. Tumbling & Gymnastics Workshops
Melbourne Tumbling Academy offers Tumbling and Gymnastics Skill Workshops designed to help athletes progress faster in a focused and supportive training environment. These workshops are suitable for athletes aged 8 to 17 years and cater to all ability levels, from beginners learning new skills to advanced athletes refining high level techniques.
Each workshop targets specific tumbling or gymnastics skills such as salto development, advanced tumbling combinations, beam, bars, handstands, and fitness based gymnastics training. Workshops are delivered at the State Gymnastics Centre, providing athletes with access to world class facilities including foam pits, Olympic standard equipment, and specialist training areas.
Families and students choose our workshops for the quality of coaching, the use of professional tumbling and gymnastics equipment, and the opportunity for athletes to gain confidence and make meaningful progress in a short period of time.
Advanced & Competitive Tumbling
Our Sunday morning Advanced/ Competitive Tumbling Program which runs from the State Gymnastics Centre is designed for advanced and competitive athletes training towards competition at state, national, and international tumbling competitions. Tumbling is the 100 metre sprint of gymnastics, requiring speed, power, precision, and consistency.
Athletes train at the State Gymnastics Centre using elite tumbling equipment that allows for the safe development of advanced tumbling skills. Our program focuses on long term athlete development, technical excellence, and athlete wellbeing, ensuring tumbling students can progress confidently and sustainably.
Led by our experienced head coach Luke who has a proven history of developing state, national, and international level athletes, our Competitive Tumbling Program provides a high performance environment while maintaining a positive, supportive, and enjoyable training culture.
